Daily Transcripts offers expert subtitling services for both closed captions and DVD subtitling purposes. Subtitling is a flexible and powerful way to ensure that your message reaches all your intended audiences.
Whether you've got a foreign-language video or a DVD for international distribution, we know how to meet your needs, from translation to finding the right font for each language.
We're known for our experience, reliability and quality. When you send us a program to be subtitled, you know that every version, no matter what language, will look just right and conform to industry standards.
No two authoring systems are alike. We deliver your subtitles in a format, including text and timing data, that your authoring system can easily import and use.
Send us the master or VHS clone of the video you would like subtitled. If you have a script and translation to the desired language(s), send it along as well. If you don't have a script, we can provide transcription and even translation.
Daily Transcripts translates the show, if necessary, and formats the script into a subtitle file. Then we carefully time the subtitles to match the program audio. If the program has onscreen graphics, we will move individual subtitles so as not to interfere with existing graphics.
DVD subtitle files are stored separately from the video and can be turned on or off at the viewer's discretion.
Video subtitles are "burned in" and will always appear when the video plays.
If you have any questions regarding your translation project feel free to contact our representatives for assistance.
